In 1990, the Bureau of Mines (BOM) conducted a mineral investigation of the mines and prospects in the East Mojave National Scenic Area {EMNSA), San Bernardino County, California. During field work, BOM identified 701 mines and prospects in EMNSA for which the geology, mineral resources, and mining history were compiled and summarized. Analytical results for 1, 188 rock samples collected are tabulated. Total value of Identified resources in EMNSA is $7.7 billion.
